This will help minimize bruising after the procedure. You may take Arnica tablets 2-3 days prior to injection to reduce inflammation and bruising. Do not apply products that are potentially irritating for 2-3 days before and after treatment (tretinoin, retin-a, glycolic acid, benzoyl peroxide).

WHAT SHOULD I DO AFTER THE TREATMENT?

Perform facial expressions for 1-2 hours after treatment, working product into muscle treated. Do NOT message or put pressure on areas of injections. Avoid extreme heat and exercise 24-48 hours after treatment as increased blood flow may diffuse product, decreasing effects and worsen any potential bruising. Stay in upright/vertical position for 4 hours following injection, do not rest your head or lie down. May apply ice LIGHTLY for 15 minutes 3 times per day after treatment. You may take Acetaminophen/Tylenol for mild tenderness or discomfort. Avoid extended UV exposure until any redness or swelling has subsided. Apply SPF.
